This is a print made from an original illustration.

The illustration was inspired by the 1995 reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National park. Wolves, an apex predator, brought Elk numbers down; which allowed aspen and cottonwood trees to flourish; which then brought beavers back to stream banks, where they built their dams; which saw the return of fish, fowl, and songbirds along streams.
